The New Hellenic Radio Internet Television (NERIT), under its founding charter 4173/26.07.2013, is the official public broadcaster of the country. It is a private legal entity with administrative and financial autonomy. NERIT disposes complete independence in its broadcast programming and also in the expressed point of view of its editors.
As a public broadcaster, NERIT serves the objective information and promotes the visibility of democratic institutions and civil society. It presents all political views equally according to the rules of democratic pluralism. At the same time, it offers unrestricted quality entertainment and education to all Greek citizens while also promotes Greece to the rest of the world.
NERIT through its television, radio and internet programming addresses all groups of society, without exclusions and exemptions. The aim is to provide high quality programs that meet the needs and interests of both the general public and smaller social groups. At the same time, NERIT utilizes the latest technology in order to become a model public broadcaster.
Respectfully to the citizens that constitute its main financial source, NERIT operates with full transparency, public consultation procedures and accountability.
